As a Locum MD in Endocrinology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing various hormonal disorders while collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the highest standard of care. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, and you will engage in a variety of clinical cases, enhancing your experience and skill set in this dynamic field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders such as diabetes and thyroid diseases
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Endocrinology preferred
• Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Active medical license in Georgia

Flexible Schedule: Day Shifts

No call required

Setting: 100% Remote

Case Types: Bread and butter endo cases, testosterone therapy, ED, hair loss, general wellness, diabetes, and mostly controlled substances

New Patient Appointments: 15-30 minutes

DEA required

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
